Rainier Agility Team is a non-profit club dedicated to promoting the

sport of dog agility for all breeds and mixed breeds. Founded in 1989, RAT was the first agility club in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Our training sites are located in Redmond and Kent. We are affiliated with the North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC) and the United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA).
Objectives:
  • To promote the sport of international style dog agility for participation by all dogs regardless of pedigree or breed(s)
  • To educate members and public about the sport of international style dog agility for participation by all dogs regardless of pedigree or breed(s)
  • To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of international style dog agility for participation by all dogs regardless of pedigree or breed(s) by encouraging sportsmanlike competition and responsible dog ownership.

Activities:

  • two annual USDAA-sanctioned trials
  • two annual NADAC/ASCA-dual-sanctioned trials
  • agility classes and seminars for members and non-members
  • fun matches open to the general public
  • agility demonstrations
  • free, member-only practice sessions
